Integrating Emotions in Early Buddhism, in Mahayana, and in the Tantric Tradition

An online teaching by Charles Genoud

via Videoconference (Zoom), Friday June 4th to Sunday 6th
During this weekend we will explore the various ways of freeing ourselves from emotions according to the texts of the Pali Canon regarding ancient Buddhism. For the Mahayana we will be relying mainly on the teaching of Vimalakirti.
And finally for the Tantrism it is more specifically the dzogchen that we will evoke.

The tantric tradition is extremely vast, it is impossible to approach it in its totality. It would require an erudition which is beyond us.

We will focus on the similarities rather than the differences.

Remark: This course is reserved for the study and practice of meditation. It is intended for people who already have some knowledge of Buddhism and want to deepen their understanding of one of the most important means to ease the burden of life. Periods of teachings will alternate with discussions in small groups and periods of Q&A with Charles.
