While reading the ancient sutras, particularly the Suttanipata, I wondered whether certain passages might find their place within the teachings of Mahamudra and Dzogchen—or why this might not be the case.

During this weekend I would like to explore what the ancient sources of Mahamudra practice might be. Gampopa speaks of the Mahamudra of the sutras, primarily drawing on the Mahayana sutras. However, it may be possible to find teachings in the earliest sutras that are already close to those of Mahamudra and may be to Dzogchen.

But I would also like to identify the essential differences between these three approaches.

All these questions are largely enigmas for me. I will try to find some pathways.

We will try to consider both theoretically and practically how to investigate these aspects of our life.
Moments of teaching will alternate with moments of meditation.

This workshop is reserved for the study and practice of a path leading to more freedom. It is intended for people who already have some knowledge of Buddhism and who are willing to discuss some complex problems that cannot be answered simply.

Periods of teachings will alternate with discussions in small groups and periods of Q&A with Charles.
